By booking in a clean, either over the phone, email or text message client has verbal or written agreement, and is bound to London Brite Cleaning Services’ Terms and Conditions.
1- SERVICES
A. REGULAR DOMESTIC CLEANING
I. The client agrees to sign and return the Agreement to London Brite Cleaning Services prior to the first cleaning visit.
II. London Brite Cleaning Services reserves the right to suspend cleaning services if payments are missing or if paper work is not returned to us prior to the first cleaning visit.
III. Minimum duration of two (2) hours per cleaning visit applies for all domestic cleaning services.
IV. The sales advisors can only give a rough estimate of the duration of the cleaning service, which is based on a basic description of the client’s house. Please note that duration may vary therefore, a degree of flexibility is required. Also, the first clean may take a little longer than the rest of the duration booked.
V. Client agrees to provide a task list and all necessary cleaning detergents and equipment for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with London Brite Cleaning Services. All cleaning equipment should be safe and in full working order. If the client has got items which need special cleaning methods and special cleaning detergents, London Brite Cleaning Services reserves the right to refuse the provision of the service and cleaning detergents.
VI. London Brite Cleaning Services will advise the client to provide the specific cleaning detergents and to pass cleaning instructions to the sales advisors when placing the order or give instruction to assigned cleaner.
VII. If the client does not have cleaning detergents and asks London Brite Cleaning Services to purchase requested items on their behalf, client understands that an applicable charge will be assessed.
VIII. If collection of keys is required from a location outside the postal code area of the cleaning scheduled, at least 48 hours-notice is required to give London Brite Cleaning Services enough time to collect keys.
IX. London Brite Cleaning Services will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. Client should give any special instructions for deactivation/activation of any household alarm systems.
B. MOVE OUT/IN CLEANING / AFTER PARTY CLEANING/ ONE-OFF CLEANING / SPRING CLEANING
I. London Brite Cleaning Services reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change.
II. If collection of keys is required, London Brite Cleaning Services requires at least 48 hours -notice to give London Brite Cleaning Services enough time to collect keys within open/closing times of estate agents/solicitors.
III. All tasks carried out are listed under “Move Out/In” link on the webpage.
IV. London Brite Cleaning Services provide all cleaning equipment/products. If any steam cleaning is required, please contact London Brite Cleaning Services to confirm. If the client has got items which need special cleaning methods and special cleaning detergents, London Brite Cleaning Services reserves the right to refuse the provision of the service and cleaning detergents.
V. The sales advisors can only give a rough estimate of the duration of the cleaning service, which is based on a basic description of the client’s house. Please note that duration may vary therefore a degree of flexibility is required.
VI. The client is advised that a Move Out/In Cleaning may take double the length of time required for a general cleaning. After Builders Cleaning, After Party Cleaning or badly neglected homes may take up to three times longer than a well-maintained home requiring general cleaning.
2- PAYMENTS
A. Payment is requested upon booking of the cleaning session, or as scheduled, depending on the type of cleaning service.
B. The Client agrees that any outstanding amount owed to London Brite Cleaning Services can be charged from any details the client has provided at the time of the booking.
C. Client understands that any ‘late payments’ may be subject to additional charges.
D. If payment is not made after 14 days of invoice, then the account will be passed to our Collections Agency, after which a charge of 15% plus Vat on top of the initial invoice due, will be added to the debt. Client agrees as part of this contract to pay this sum which represents our reasonable costs in collecting the unpaid amounts.
3- COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS
A. Client accepts and understands that poor service, breakage/damage or theft must be reported verbally over the phone and in writing (letter or email) within 24 hours from the service date. London Brite Cleaning Services reserves the right to deny client of recovery or compensation in failure to do so. Refunds are not offered. However, we are happy to correct any issue. Requests received by our office after that will be incorporated into your next scheduled cleaning.
B. If the client has scheduled an inventory check, it must be scheduled to commence no later than 24 hours after the cleaning job has been carried out and photographic evidence must be given.
C. London Brite Cleaning Services may take up to 7 working days to respond to a complaint.
4- SAFETY
A. Prior to the cleaner’s arrival, please remove all items, clothing, toys, etc. that may delay efficient cleaning of your home. This will maximize safety, productivity and minimize the time we spend to clean your home. If you prefer that our cleaner/s remove these items, we are happy to do so and will add the additional time on billing with corresponding charges.
B. If you have any irreplaceable, collectible or expensive objects, we ask that these items be secured or put away in order to avoid accidents.
C. London Brite Cleaning Services is not responsible for damage due to faulty or improper installation of items. Please inform us of any items in your home that require this type of attention.
D. For the safety of your children, we ask that they be supervised while our cleaner/s and equipment are present in your home.
E. Please secure all pets that are dangerous to our cleaner/s inside and outside of your house. London Brite Cleaning Services cannot be responsible for cleaning up after pets.
F. Key replacement/locksmith fees are paid only if keys are lost by our cleaner/s.
5- LIABILITY
A. London Brite Cleaning Services reserves the right not to be liable for:
I. Completing tasks which are not stated on our task list.
II. Cleaning jobs not complete due to no hot water or power.
III. Third party entering or present at the client’s premises during the cleaning process.
IV. Wear/discoloring of fabric becoming more visible once dirt has been removed.
V. Failing to remove old/permanent stains that cannot be removed.
VI. Existing damage or spillage that cannot be cleaned/removed completely.
6- SCHEDULE CHANGES / CANCELLATIONS / TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF SERVICES
A. We understand that there are changes in schedules in our busy lives. In the event that a scheduled cleaning service must be changed or cancelled, we ask that our clients notify London Brite Cleaning Services 48 hours in advance. This gives us opportunity to fill the spot and keep our cleaners working a full schedule. When a client cancels with less than 48 hour-notice, a fee of fifty (50) percent of the charges for that service will be applied. If the scheduled cleaning is not rescheduled and skipped, London Brite Cleaning Services may need to charge a higher rate for the next scheduled visit due to extra work needed to complete that cleaning service.
B. For permanent cancellation of cleaning service, we ask the client to notify us two weeks in advance.
C. If you will be away from your home for an extended period of time, we request that you schedule the cleaning service just before you leave, but not after you leave to ensure that you have a chance to see our work and be the last to leave your home.
Payment Terms and Conditions for Commercial Customers
1. Payment Agreement: 1.1 Payment for services provided by London Brite Cleaning Services (“the Company”) is due within 15 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
2. Invoicing: 2.1 The Company will issue invoices for services rendered to the commercial client (“the Client”). 2.2 Invoices will be sent to the billing address provided by the Client.
3. Late Payment: 3.1 Late payment may result in interest charges being applied at a rate of 8% above the Company’s Bank base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. 3.2 The Company reserves the right to suspend services or terminate the agreement if payments are not received within the stipulated timeframe.
4. Payment Methods: 4.1 Payments must be made in GBP (British Pounds Sterling). 4.2 The Company accepts payments via bank transfer, cheque, or other methods agreed upon in writing.
5. Disputed Invoices: 5.1 Any disputed invoices must be brought to the attention of the Company within 14 days of receipt. 5.2 The Client agrees to communicate promptly and in good faith to resolve any disputes regarding the invoiced amount.
6. Credit Limits: 6.1 The Company reserves the right to set and adjust credit limits for Clients based on credit history and payment performance. 6.2 The Client will be notified in writing if any changes are made to their credit limit.
7. Termination of Services: 7.1 The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if the Client fails to make timely payments. 7.2 Termination of services does not relieve the Client of their obligation to pay any outstanding amounts.
8. VAT: 8.1 All prices quoted are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate, unless otherwise specified.
9. Confidentiality: 9.1 All financial information and terms of payment discussed between the Company and the Client will be treated as confidential.
10. Governing Law: 10.1 This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 10.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
11. Amendments: 11.1 The Company reserves the right to amend these payment terms and conditions. Client will be notified in writing of any changes.
By entering into an agreement with London Brite Cleaning Services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to abide by the above-stated payment terms and conditions.
